All of those OJs went incredibly cheap, below even the lowball estimates made by the auction house. The miscut Annis went for $60 (estimate $100-$250), the Gypsy Queen Carroll went for $387 (estimate $100-$250), Buck Ewing and Dan Brouthers for $714 and $208 respectively (estimates $250-$500, the same as commons), the Barkley portrait for $107 (estimate $250-$500). Somebody at that auction house had no clue what they were doing and no clue what they had.
