Default BGS/BVG

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, yes, this is another post about grading companies.

The latest issue of Old Cardboard has a grading special from Beckett Vintage Grading. It seems like a great deal at 5 bucks a card. I don't see many Beckett graded cards on ebay in the 1930's area, or in the pre-1930 section. If anyone has experience with BGS or BVG, what are your thoughts and experiences in regard to the quality and consistency of their grading, and the relative values of Beckett graded cards compared to some of the other services?

My only Beckett card is a BVG4 1941 Double Play Pee Wee Reese/Higby, which to me looks like it could be a 3 or a 4, depending on whether I am buying or selling.

Have at it!

Rick
