The only reason I would spend that much on a baseball card is because I truly think I could sell it for more later.
No different to me really than an IRA account... except a lot more fun and enjoyable!
The funny thing is... I drive a simple old pick up truck because I can't bring myself to spend any real money on a VEHICLE that will DEPRECIATE over time instead of APPRECIATE!!
Let's just say that I am investing in what I love to collect.
