He touted buying $100-$150K at most of the big shows, so 10-20% markup would net 10-30K or so per show. Probably not many dealers make that kind of PROFIT. Plus dealing in cash....you know. I'm assuming when he did auctions, he cherry-picked the 'MINT' stuff and auctioned it, sold the mid grade stuff off as above.
