In my opinion, if you are only going to own one Cobb, I would try to get the best looking t206 portrait (red or green), because that’s the most iconic. A consolation could be the M116 sporting life, bc same portrait picture (blue background better but more expensive). Otherwise, I would go for a 1907 Dietsche Batting Post Card. It’s the most affordable version of his (generally) earliest pieces

I just saw you newest post. Great! T206 bat off is a great card and it’s key your wife is on board! Perhaps you can get a t213 to make it cheaper (same exact picture/pose but later year, and not t206).
