My first was Nap Rucker (throwing) EX in 2005 and it was an Ebay purchase. I just wanted one for my collection. Liked the card so much, within a week I called Shoebox cards and purchased a Bresnahan (with bat) EX.
BleedinBlue - I remember Teletrade and used to buy a few of cards from them.
