The finger tips on Vandy's glove are actually seams that were placed along the knuckles to give the fingers of the glove more of a natural curvature. They're not actually capped like a 19th century catcher's glove would be. By the looks of it, he's probably wearing a glove made by Spalding or one of its sub-brands.
