Kendrick stood by the display and offered mini-tours of the collection, including a rare and pristine Honus Wagner card produced by a tobacco company in 1909. There are only eight left in existence and a few years ago, Kendrick paid a private collector $2.7 million to procure it. The card is so rare because the Hall of Fame Pirates shortstop demanded it be pulled from circulation shortly after it was released.
Only off by a factor of about 10.
