I've seen many of these at auction over the years. There are a few years featured, but as Mark said, unless near mint, these rarely reach $2,000. Here are several examples from just two major auction houses, but I could fill a page with links of this and similar pieces. I love them...but they aren't particularly rare and are extremely condition sensitive. My suggestion to you would be...take the money and RUN
