Default How Rare Are Texas Tommys?

As we look back on on our 35th anniversary in collecting, it becomes clear that as a type Texas Tommys are in the ultra-rare category. We have only owned three, including the Copeland Joe Jackson, (all of which we deeply regret selling or trading.)

Except for an occasional low grade example in a Lifson or Legandary auction,
we have only seen 10 examples for public sale in the past eight years.

Last year Forbes Magazine listed the Texas Tommy cards of Wagner, Jackson
and Cobb to be among the 10 most valuable cards in the hobby.

Does anyone know if the Cobb and Wagner are in the collection of a private, active collector.

What has been your experience in pursuing this is ultra rare issue?

Look forward to your comments
