I got this reprint copy of the 1927 Yanks Team from Spring Training off of ebay. It's not a high value item, but it is significant for me.
It shows one of the ST team pics from 1927.
This matches exactly with the team pic I got in the group of 1927 ST snapshots I picked up earlier this month.
First pic is the new one. Second pic is a close up of snapshot. Third is high res pic of same snap.
You can see the pic is almost exact, except for some hand placements and the angle of the photograph.
I do think this proves the pics are from 1927. I also think I might have a very rare snapshot. Has anyone else ever seen a team picture snapshot?
The guy must have been lucky enough to be there on the same day.
