Default Photos: Equipment / Posters on Display inc. REACH

circa 1920's* (8 photos), NATIONAL BASEBALL WEEK window displays, Emigh-Winchell hardware Co. - Sacramento, California

(photos 1-2) 8 x 10 - blank back / no photographer stamp

(photos 3-8) 7 x 11 - linen back, photo by Frederick Foto Service stamp (front or back)

these window displays feature REACH and WINCHESTER baseball equipment, as well as some ass-kicking period signage...I've seen some great display pieces shown by a number of members, and I'm wondering whether anybody has similar display / advertising pieces that were shown in these photos...my guess would be that if any of these examples survived, there may be a handful of pieces resting in the collections of west coast collectors, as the store was / is located in Scaramento.....would love to see any similar (or actual) items that were shown in these displays, as I believe that these well-done displays must have been amazing (and I would imagine quite colorful) if seen in person.

*I'm basing the approximate year on the presence of the Richard Dix movie posters from "Warming Up" (as shown in the last photo), which was released in 1928.
