As noted they appeared in the Detroit Times in 1936. I have seen a total of 50 baseball subjects ( 44 different players + 6 variations). Of these 50, the Detroit Checklist consists of 25 ( 21 different players + 4 variations).
My complete checklist (?) is 104 including all sports (92 different subjects + 12 variations).
They appeared in panels of 2. In one Sunday edition they appeared in a group of 12 ( 4 rows of 3 across) and these are the 12 variations from their regular 2 panel issue.

Not seen very often, so I don't know the real value of any of these. Seen some on ebay at Buy it Now prices which seemed high. Panels of 2 I would think would be priced higher. The 12 panel, which also included a 2 panel on the same page would be a great item. I have a copy of it from the newspaper.
