ChrisI don't list cards on ebay often, but when I do I often struggle with the starting price. For cards worth anywhere from 50 to a couple hundred dollars is $9.99 a good starting price? I would presume the market is big enough for major sets that through competitive bidding the final price will usually meet what someone sets out to get.
