I think you're quite right -- somebody at the Exhibit factory gave it the mental finger, and rather than doing what he was supposed to do, did this.

My real question, of course, is how many more are out there. Since I have about a hundred, of which two are marked up, they can't be all that rare. On the other hand, I've never seen or heard any conversaton about them.
