Brian C.Between about 1909 and 1920, the Philadelphia Inquirer did a ticket giveaway to the World Series in what it called the "World's Series Tourist" promotion. Offered is an original 1920 World Series Tourist felt overized pennant. It is 32 inches long and 14 inches tall and uses old English lettering. I'm in the dark ages when it comes to downloading images from a digital camera, so I borrowed the image below from the internet to show what it looks like. Note that mine doesn't have the tassels, but it has the original tag from the Philadelphia manufacturer. Overall nice shape, with minor wear and on the reverse some light discoloration. Displays beautifully. I can try to scan sections of it if you're interested. I've only seen one other pennant like this one. Incidentally, in 1920, the Cleveland Indians won the Series over the Brooklyn Dodgers in seven games. Best offer takes it.
