Good Morning, Collectors:I am now asking $500 for a VERY COOL and UNIQUE vintage collectible. This piece is an original photo negative produced in 1939 picturing Negro League Hall of Fame Great, Josh Gibson, along with two teammates and the batboy for the Santurce Crabbers of the Puerto Rican Winter League in 1939. This VERY RARE piece measures 6 1/2" X 5" and the photo has appeared in many books and articles, including the one that I have provided a scan of below. Condition of this piece is very good with two scratches along the bottom edge which do not affect the image of any of the players.All of you Negro League and Josh Gibson collectors out there know just how tough it is to find any career contemporary collectibles of Gibson and this unique item would be the centerpiece of many advanced Josh Gibson collections!!!If interested, please e-mail me at: vguerrerobb@yahoo.com.
