I've had the pleasure of a couple of conversations with Mr. Robinson, a most affable gentleman. I asked him once if he ever got ribbed about this card. He replied, "yes, many times," and explained that the shot was taken by a photographer who put the camera right in his face just as he had concluded some wind sprints while wearing a sweat suit. I had never really noticed the collar of the sweat suit until after he had related this story.
