The views of several seem to be that once we raise taxes on the most productive people in society everything will be all right. This is despite the fact that they already account for a record percentage of taxes paid and the US has one of the most progressive taxation regimes in the world.
Just watch as companies move more and more manufacturing out of the US because of the high costs of union labor. Its a global economy and with unions determined to increase membership and Obama ready to try to make it easy for them watch how quickly those remaining union jobs leave the country. Should the left try to limit this, companies will simply reincorporate outside the U.S.
