Red Suns are amongst the most difficult type cards
Only 29 cards have been graded by PSA
At the moment, the SGC Population Report is
not available on line.
We suspect the total number of SGC and PSA graded examples
is less than 100.
The highest grade examples are PSA 6 and SGC 80
A further note, since Vintage Baseball Card Prices has begun tracking auctions in 2006
only 20 Red Sun cards have been traded in public auctions. The most recent example was also
the highest graded among the 20, It was a PSA 5 and was sold by Mastro earlier
this summer for $1560.
Our example is an SGC 80-we were lucky to find it at a dealer's table at the first Reading show
Challenging set, indeed,
