CatI bought the lot below and after the auction was over someone posted how crazy the buyer was for spending $645 per card. I really only wanted the Hornsby. But, I wanted it bad!!! After I got the lot I immediately listed the majority of the cards on EBay at 99 cent starting bids. Several of the auctions went crazy. Many of those cards were first cards/rookies. Based on the prices I got for the cards and the value of a couple others I kept, I got the Hornsby for about $400. The Hornsby now rests in a SGC 30 holder.
This kind of thing happens all the time.
