Anonymoussome people are just dumb and don't consider the BP when they bid. Others get fooled by accident. Most do consider it, but you only need a few stupid bidders to make it effective. But raising it too high will also get their attention sooner or later. I wonder if 25 percent cross the line. I would not be thrilled to own Christie's stock.
