Without commenting on the specifics of your situation, I did have an instance of posting a WTB, and someone posted a reply on the original thread but didn't send me an e-mail. My original post got buried 7-8 deep pretty quickly, and it was a few days later until I happened -- by accident -- to see his response. I felt badly that it took me that long to respond (and a deal was struck) because no doubt the responder was wondering why I didn't get back to him. But I simply didn't see his offer for a few days (and I look at the B/S/T board a lot).
Just something to consider.
