peter ullmanthank goodness for uncooked popcorn kernels...they keep me in business!!!!!!! Sounds like the tooth below has a crack too barry and should have a crown done. I'd recommend having the tooth prepared for a crown. If...while you have a temporary crownon the tooth...there are no adverse symptoms...have the crown cemented. If symptoms persist...have root canal done before crown is seated so the dds doesn't have to drill a hole in a nice new crown. The crack itself...warrants a crown...sometimes cracks can run deep...into the root canal system necessitating a rct. Good luck, Barry.
