The top of the T looks a lot like the one I've seen, also on the auto I've seen he used dashes instead of slashes for the date...
I KNOW the Ty Cobb auto I've seen is real because my Mom's ex-boyfriend got his autographed in 1959 in Oregon at one of his Little league exhibition games. There he met Ty Cobb in Person.
Not the best looking autograph, but it's still worth getting authenticated - I'm going gainst the grain to say, looks real to me!
