To me, sports card collecting is a combination of my two greatest passions; collecting stuff and sports history. Back in the late 80's and early 90's I bought a lot of card sets willy-nilly just like a lot of people. When I grew tired of the constant barrage of new products and the insert card craze I cut way back and for the last 15 years I have only purchased cards, new and old, that have meaning to me.
