Offered is a (122) card 1915-1930s multi-sport strip card lot with mostly boxing stars. This selection prominently showcases the exploits of various sports celebrities of the age. Cut in a rudimentary manner from strips issued in candy stores, these “W” series cards are all in off-grade. Comprising a variety of designations, there is moderate duplication found within. Degraded by creasing, errant scissor cutting, some writing on the reverses and other flaws, this group is noteworthy for the stature of its representatives.
