My college roommates and I used to play Strat-O-Matic for hours at a time...sometime stretching overnight....there were many days when we would sleep after classes and then play the game all night only to have to suspend a game because we had to go to classes.

We had one renegade friend who refused to play SOM and instead started his own APBA league.

Those were the days.
