Jeff LichtmanOne just needs to read a book about baseball during the turn of the 20th century to learn how different things once was. I read in "Crazy '08" that during the early era of baseball the firing of guns during a game was so commonplace that a haze of gunpowder once hung over the infield during an entire game; when the game ended everyone unloaded their weapons into the empty stands. Things have really changed.
