I think it is an excellent idea! When I first discovered this board a few years ago, I posted about an obscure 1960s set, not realizing the definition of vintage (pre WWII) that the board conformed to. However, I stuck around, as my passion is pre WWII stuff (although it is very difficult to find in the places I search: flea markets, antique shops, estate auctions, etc). Perhaps others will act similarly if there was another tab dealing with "newer vintage" cards. I could envision the size of this board (and thus the numbers of vintage collectors) swelling with "borderline" vintage collectors who might gravitate towards preWWII once they discover this part of the forum.
I believe the "newer vintage" section should be pre 1980, but could understand the cutoff being 1975 or 1970, however I do not believe it should go into the 1980s. Just my opinion, but I too would love to hear what others think.
