Regarding whether or not a group lot has break value depends on what you pay for it. Leon and I split that Old Judge lot and we may have simply overestimated it. In general, if you do your homework you should be able to get a large group of cards for around 75-80% of break value. Doesn't leave a lot of room for error, but it's pretty competitive out there.
