I definitely splurged a bit:I have wanted this Cobb ever since I was a child playing with the reprint sets. I can't believe I was able to buy one in high grade. The Mathewson is impossible to find in high grade, but I think this one has great eye appeal and for more than $2,500 less than the 30 that went in the Mastro auction I couldn't pass it up.I picked up this lot of Colgan's Chip proof cards because I have never owned proofs and I really like thc concept. I bid aggressively on the Cobb proof in Mastro, but it seemed liked the high bidder wasn't going to be denied on that one.Another addition to my top 200 sportscard set.
