nbrazilmy addiction is pretty bad. it's really the lack of focus that gets me. I'm a T206 and HOF rookie collector (i know, two big tasks), but i sometimes get drawn into other sets. Right now i have a T3 card and several '15 CJs...i know i cant afford to get either of those sets when im collecting what im already collecting...but, i still bought them.
what i usually end up doing is keeping the item for awhile...purge whatever emotional/cognitive/physical/emotional/spritual satisfaction/attachment i get from it (i.e. i display it in a bookcase, look and hold it every other day, sleep with it at night, take it for a walk in the park, make mad, passionate love to it)...then sell it off. I tell myself all the time that it's a piece of cardboard...sell it, damnit, sell it!!
