davidcyclebackA few years ago a famous foreign photographer skipped the country (USA) leaving much of his personal belongings behind. To pay for unpaid bills, his landlord auctioned off his belongings and I obtained a large portion of his photograph archives. I posted and described one of the photos on my website and was contacted by a movie producer producing a small movie on the photographer's life. He asked if I would provide some images for the documentary, which I did. Tipped by the producer, I was subsequently contacted by the photographer, living in a foreign country, who asked for scans of the photos I owned. I him sent a CD of the images. He never asked for the photos themselves, and I still own most of them.
