Hi Ted.

I'll check the backs of the Waddells tonight. I too have noticed the pattern of different blue shadings on them. What I haven't generally seen, though I could just have missed it, and what I like about the cards I have, is the brown/red contrast in his uniform trim. It's quite obvious on these two cards.
