Player Managers were very common in the 1900-1930 era.

Many players did this and many Hall of Famer managed during their playing days at some time or another.
Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, George Sisler, Bucky Harris, Eddie Collins, Dave Bancroft, Rabbit Maranville, Rogers Hornsby, Ray Schalk, Bill Mckechnie, Roger Bresnahan, Three Finger Brown, Joe Tinker, Johnny Evers, Frank Chance, Nap Lajoie, Joe Kelley, Jimmy Collins, Bobby Wallace, Fred Clarke, and even Honus Wagner and Cy Young managed while still playing.

But as far as a card noting this, there are some in the 1920s.
