Carson asked his wife what she did to bring her husband luck and she innocently replied, "I kiss his balls." Carson deadpanned his reaction while the audience went wild with laughter and Mrs. Palmer flushed red. When the laughter died down Carson said, still deadpan, "I guess that must straighten out his putz."
