Steve M.is what you show the value to be on your submission form. It is then used for insurance purposes when the card is returned to you. I don't think SGC, or any grading company for that matter, is in the business of determining "value". So if you want to submit a $1,000 card and value it at $100 it will be graded under that fee tier. You of course will run the risk that it will be under-insured when returned.
