Default Post your "High Grade, Low Grades"

Barry, each card has a small amount of paperloss on the reverse. The Donovan has the most layers of paper missing and the largest affected area, hence the lower grade.

I agree that GAI tends to treat paperloss less harshly - however, in my opinion, they are too easy on paperloss. SGC, on the other hand, is too harsh (though very consistent in their treatment of paperloss). I think a nice card like those pictured above should be eligible for 40s absent other problems like creases. Leon's card is undergraded even by SGC standards. It should be at least a 30, which, until just the other day, I believed to be the highest grade you could get from SGC on a card with paperloss (regardless of how little). However, yesterday I was surprised to see an e92 bresnahan for sale with a small spot of paperloss on the reverse and it was graded a 40.
