As the proud owner of an Allegheny card, I've got to ask why Alpha's go for so much more. Right now, REA is auctioning the Allegheny and the Alpha of Kid Gleason. The Allegheny is at $700 while the Alpha is at $12000. Both cards are literally one of a kind. I know the Alpha is 10 years older, but that can't make much of a difference. And, though I've never seen an Alpha in person, I assume they are much higher quality cards than Allegheny's. But still, does that really account for a huge price difference?
