Seth B.I'm embarking on a T209 Type I collection. Mostly with the help of our moderator, I'm a quarter way there so far. I grew up in North Carolina (not so long ago), and I love the local flavor and great pictures of the cards. (Plus, when else can you get a picture of someone named "Fullenwider?" I think I'd like to embark on the T209 IIs at some point as well, I just picked up my first one. That set is daunting in its combination of size and rarity, but collecting by team is a great idea, does anyone know a checklist by team availabe for that set?
I also collect T212 (any series) of "Bernard" when I get a chance to buy one. No relation, but it's kinda cool having an old baseball card with your last name on it (be even cooler if my last name were Lajoie, I suppose).
