Cant believe what people pay for that ugly card. It doesnt even say Babe Ruth on it, it only says "Beloved Baseball Idol of All Boys". Its ugly, its blank backed, it was issued as a cut out a couple years after he retired, and It isnt even all that rare. Ive now seen 5 of the Ruths and 3 Golfers in the last 3 years show up for sale, and I dont even look for them. It goes to show that if something is listed as $4,000 in price guides there is a good chance someone with too much $$ will pay it.
