I grew up with the Beatles and was fortunate to see them perform twice- in 1964 and 1966. I think those who are younger can not fully appreciate the impact they had on us all and how the world began to change as they evolved. If you feel the Beatles are overrated, chances are you weren't around when they were. And to say that five years ago Britney Spears was more popular than them is nothing more than a condemnation of today's popular culture, and how barren and superficial it really is.
