We have discussed this before, and the consensus is that there is no consensus. Everyone has their own opinions, and they are entitled to them. I am convinced that in many cases, there is no such thing as a "true" rookie card.

The one thing that I am sure about is that everyone who is selling a card (myself included) that "could" be considered a rookie, is going to advertise it as such, given how hot the rookie card craze is.
