I would have to go with great for the hobby. It is a great idea especially for competitive people (Aren't we all?) It is a great way to prove you have the best. The only down side I see to it is - he who has the most money wins. I guess everything is that way but the set registry sure seems to emphasize that. My Dad and I only have non-sports sets on the registry. Haven't found a sports set we wanted to do yet.
