Default Beckett's Baseball Card Hall of Fame

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis

I am really amazed at the debates on this thread over '80s and
'90s cards. In the 1970's thru the mid-80s the current rookie
cards, or who at any given moment was "hot" would be the "card-
de-jour". And, these fads would be short-lived, or perhaps last
thru a given season.

However, the Anson's, the "King" Kelly's, the Cobb's, the Joe
Jackson's, the Ruth's, the Gehrig's, the DiMaggio's, the Ted
Williams', the Jackie Robinson's the Leroy Paige's....etc, etc,
where in constant demand throughout these decades.

So, its really a joke to me the debates here regarding Griffey,
McGuire, Ripken, Canseco; and, all the rest of these NEO-CARDS
with respect to the original intent of this thread.

So, I am sure I will have to dodge some "flack" for saying this
But, what do I really know....I am just a 66-year old "Paleo-
Poofto".....that's Greek.....but I am not going to tell you.
