RhysI recently picked up this photo on ebay and it is a circa 1903 or so minor league all star photo of some kind. All the players are named on the back and one of them is a Delhanty brother, and the other names I do not recognize off hand. The hats, sweaters, and uniforms are all different, and the only jersey I can read is for "Raleigh". There are players with all different hats but some say B, some say L, and some say F. The players names are somewhat hard to read based on the handwriting but their names appear to be as follows :
Top Row: Shindel, Mealy, Boland, Rodgers, Cpngalton, Finn (manager), McDonald, Bannister, McRaithlin
Middle: Sullivan, Smith, Ahearn, Haley, Delahanty, Miller, White, Morghan, Cranker
Bottom: Eastman, Brennan, Mulvey, Hoover, Griffith
Any help on an idea of the league, or who any of these other players are would be much appreciated. I have taken pictures of the team, the Delehanty brother, and the guy with the readable Raleigh jersey.
