The 6 Texas league players only have Old Mill or Piedmont backs:
Bastian (San Antonio)
Miller (Dallas)
Smith (Shreveport)
Stark (San Antonio)
Thebo (Waco)
White (Houston)
Estimate Old Mill 55%, Piedmont 45%
The other 42 Southern leaguers come with Old Mill, Piedmont, and Hindu brown backs.
Estimate Old Mill 50%, Piedmont 45%, Hindu brown 5%
The Old Mill backs are the most common on Southern League players.
