Default Your Favorite Baseball In Your Collection

Ryan had signed and personalized a ball for me that I got from a cousin who worked at Bristol-Myers, which he inscribed "to Adam, best wishes." In 2005, a client I was representing on some real estate deals who was a Brooklyn expatriate and who was a FOS (Friend Of Sandy) told me that Koufax was coming to LA for the 50th anniversary of the 1955 championship and that he would have Koufax sign something for me if I wanted. I asked him to have Koufax sign the Ryan ball with the same personalized inscription as Ryan used. When he gave Koufax the ball, my client told me that Koufax looked it over and said "Why the f**k would I want to be on a ball with Ryan?" He was joking of course and inscribed and signed it for me.
