Tom RussoSorry to hear you have lost the Braves. I used to catch quite a few games in the 70s when I was in school in Virginia. I remember speaking to Luke Appling at a game once. He must have been in his sixties at the time. He really enjoyed taking in the Braves games and being remembered by fans. I had the good fortune to see the old timers game at RFK a few years later when Appling homered off Warren Spahn at age 75.
